Rihanna: Fashion Icon or Fashion Misfit?

Nay. Dont even know where to start..!
Hmm.. this is hard. I like bits of it I suppose.. I'll Yay it because its sorta okay..( I cannot stand her hairstyle though. Horrible!)
Yay. But only because I can see what she is trying to do with the outifit. I really like her jacket and my mum just looked and said her scarf is lovely, so overall nice!
NAY! This is beyond disgusting, the bowl-like hair, the dress looks trashy and makes her look fat. I suppose the only nice thing is the shoes.
Yay. Absolutely lovely. I love playsuits and this one is just perfect, especially the structured shoulders. The statment necklace is great and its cool that this is the only piece of jewellery she is wearing. Also I love the nails!
Nay. I dont like this, it looks like she is trying too hard.

Pixie Geldof- the ultimate rebel!

Pixie Geldof is the ultimate rebel and we all absolutely love her for it. Her style is so effortlessly cool and she sports the androgynous look in a way in which most of us can only dream of. Her laid back attitude and fun loving lifestyle make us all able to identify with her as she brings out the rebellious side in all of us. Myself and my fellow blogger love her cute pixie crop which in my opinion represents what fashion is all about as its quite a daring hairstyle to have but she makes it her own in her unique way. As well as having a great sense of style she is also absolutely beautiful and has a natural look about her. The first time I realized that I loved Pixie's style was when I was glancing through a copy of Vogue a couple of years ago and they had written a massive spread on her burgeoning modeling career. Since then, I started to take notice of her amazing sense of style.
Here are a few of my favorite looks of Pixie..

The second 6th-former

Hello there everyone, I'm the second sixth former and I thought I'd tell you a little bit about myself. I absolutely love fashion! I could literally talk about it all day.... In fact, I pretty much do tend to talk about it all day with my partner-in-crime, the first blogger. As my friend mentioned before, the girls in our sixth form are very competitive when it comes to fashion so, the two of us go all out in order to upstage them in the fashion stakes. Besides that I enjoy going to coffee shops and having a bit of a gossip with the girls and a general catch up a la Sex and the City. I love reading novels and writing is my passion. I would describe my personal style as quite classic, uber-feminine and sophisticated. However, I love to experiment with masculine looks from time to time hence my current obsession with Balmain! So, there's a little overview of me, enjoy the rest of your day my fellow fashionistas. Ciao xxx
The two 6th-formers..
Well. I can't think of anything to say! We both go to the same 6th form as we said in our little "about us section", and funnily enough we started talking on the train, and we both made each other realise how much we love fashion! Our 6th form is a bit of a joke actually as its like a runway show everyday; summertime even worse, but I dont mind as it also contributed to our love of style.
I'm more laid-back, like to have fun and spend time reading ELLE and Grazia, listen to any music that sounds good, have a good goss and bitch.. literally love life! I never stick to deadlines, I'm always late to absolutely everything! And I love the good life, spending money.. you know the Fame lifestyle! My ambition is to get into the fashion world, and get into the fashionable socialites!
My partner in blogging is exactly like me give or take a few things.. actually she is wilder than me! Reading that is funny because she is the one that sounds posher! I'm not going to write about her because I think she can best explain herself.. she'll add hers asap.
Writing all of this is weird though because I feel like I'm not really talking to anyone because no-one is commenting on our posts! :(! But this is new so maybe I'm expecting too much. Ill add a picture (not of us just yet, we'll still remain that little bit annoymous!)
Cheerio! much love!
x x x.. etc

(I saw this picture on Google and thought it was nice as it sort of describes me in a nutshell. That's what I like to think. ;)
Spring countdown baby!

This spring 09 there are so many gorgeous trends that are breaking boundaries and pushing fashion to the limit but we mustn't forget the classics as they will never grow old. So, in light of this I thought I'd compile a list of my top ten looks for this season. Enjoy!
- My number one look for this spring is a classic Black Blazer with a cute pink floral dress worn underneath and violet flats with bows. Simple, yet utterly gorgeous and uber-feminine.
- An electric blue cardie, a retro t shirt and an electric blue pencil skirt teamed with classic black Doc Martins... This gives a fashionable twist to an otherwise feminine look. If the weather permits, a pair of classic Ray ban Wayfarers will complete the look.
- A simple white v neck tee, a black leather jacket, purple harem trousers and white plimsolls. A daring take on the Glam sport trend.
- My infamous red leather jacket, teamed with my African inspired floral print dress and classic black pumps from French sole. One of my favorite looks for a simple spring day...
- A Plain white t-shirt, wide legged jeans and gold wedges, a chic look for the daytime which is guaranteed to make me stand out!
- A Red checked shirt, classic black pencil skirt and brogues. For that casual/smart look.
- An over sized denim shirt, black leggings and gladiators. This outfit gives a casual yet effortlessly beautiful look to every fashionista.
- A Black Rolling Stones t-shirt, a floral pencil skirt and classic black Doc Martins for a rock 'n' roll look with a feminine twist.
- A Brown leather jacket, a floral maxi dress and YSL Tribute shoes. This is an absolutely breath-taking look for a spring/summer day out.
- And...last but certainly not least, A light Blue laundered dress, Gladiator Heels and a Black Fringed Bag. For a fashion-forward, and simply gorgeous look.

Olivia Palermo New York's Socialite

But then again.. looking at the picture above she does have an air of socialite-ism lol! I think she looks simple stunning! And radiant!

Okay, so while I was looking for pictures for her nails (haha, you know what I mean), hair and rings I saw these one below. Olivia is with her model boyfried (gorgeous!!) Johannes Huebl and they're at the Obession premier. She looks nice, I like her cardigan, but I love her hair! The shoes are cute! At first I thought they were flats (I know that sounds weird) but I realised they are heels.. I've seen them before but I cant remember where.. Dont you just love her hair?! Its just.. immaculate. Ive seen new pictures of her and she's now dark-ish brown. She looks completely different. I really like it actually, I'ts nice..
